To Bring Delaware Back To Sanity & Prosperity

Protect Women, Children, Scholastic Athletes, and All Delaware Tax Payers
The idea that gender is a social construct independent of biology has no basis in OBJECTIVE science, and all public policy questions should be dealt with from that standpoint.
Science advocate Richard Dawkins explains the OBJECTIVE scientific reality:
In our free society, adults have the right to live their lives as they choose. However, they do not have the right to compel others to affirm those choices – or compel others to pay for them.
- In Delaware, gender identity‑related medical procedures for prison inmates, such as hormone therapy and gender‑affirming surgeries, are generally covered by the State. This, while our law-abiding, tax-paying citizens are struggling to make ends meet to pay for their own MEDICALLY NECESSARY health care expenses. As your State Senator, I will stand firmly opposed to all State funding for any ELECTIVE (non‑medically necessary) medical procedure or therapy for prison inmates, including those related to gender dysphoria.
- Delaware law does not explicitly mandate that K‑12 schools must inform parents or obtain parental consent before affirming a student's transgender identity. I will work to change that. Your children are not the property of the State.
- Delaware law does not prohibit individuals under the age of 18 from getting hormone therapy as a treatment for gender identity‑related issues. That is borderline criminal in my view. If you're not old enough to choose to drink an alcoholic beverage, then you're certainly not old enough to choose to ingest physiology altering chemicals.
- Delaware does not prohibit transgender biological males (individuals whose DNA includes a 'Y' Chromosome but who "identify as female") from participating on girls' sports teams in both public schools and universities. This makes a mockery of all of the hard work, sacrifice and dedication our daughters must commit to in order to achieve excellence in scholastic athletics. This can't be allowed to continue.
- As your State Senator, I will work to ensure that all public buildings and facilities, as well as those that receive public funding from the State, must have restrooms (and where applicable, locker rooms and showers) that are EXCLUSIVELY for biological females (people whose DNA DOES NOT have a 'Y' Chromosome).
