11 Point Plan
Put Educational Freedom Within Reach Of All Delaware Students
Access to the best educational opportunities should be available to everyone ‑ not just the wealthy and privileged, but to ALL Delaware students.
Delaware has a public school choice program allowing students to attend schools outside their assigned districts, but it does not include provisions for private school choice.
Click here to check out an interactive map of School Choice In America and what each of the U.S. States is providing its citizens with in terms of access to privates schools. You'll see that our neighbors are already doing it, but if you click on Delaware, you'll see that a BIG FAT ZERO comes up. We need to change that now!

- Maryland provides scholarships to low‑income students for private school tuition.
- Pennsylvania and Virginia provide tax credits to businesses who sponsor scholarships for students to attend private schools.
- West Virginia allows it's citizens to participate in an Education Savings Account (ESA) program that allows families to use public funds for private school tuition, homeschooling expenses, and other educational services..
- Ohio provides vouchers for students in underperforming public schools to attend private schools.
As your State Senator, I am committed to ensuring every young person in Delaware has access to a high‑quality education that meets their unique needs, regardless of their family's financial situation. That's why I will work to introduce programs like these to Delaware ‑ AND hold accountable those public officials who work on behalf of special interests to block programs like these.
